Orwik is an online content management and distribution site for scientists. It is intended to serve as the scientific memory and repository of research for laboratories, foundations and institutions. Our mission is to make science accessible by providing a platform for the safe and secure sharing of research, open access publishing and creating sustainable scientific communities.

You will be in working with local academics to seed and grow scientific communities, and to help scientists integrate user generated content and maintain sustainable wikis. This job involves working with academic groups in universities and colleges and interdisciplinary institutes in the area.

The ideal candidate should be highly energetic, have a genuine interest in science, innovation, information dissemination and novel technologies. Must have great communication skills, experience working with people and a friendly demeanor.

Requirements :
• Research experience
• Strong communication and writing skills
• Knowledge of social marketing tools like Facebook, Blogger, Twitter and the like

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with web technologies
  • Interest in building communities
  • Knowledge of viral dynamics
