Sales and Business Development Executive

Orwik is an online content management and distribution site for scientists. It is intended to serve as the scientific memory and repository of research for laboratories, foundations and institutions. Our mission is to make science accessible by providing a platform for the safe and secure sharing of research, open access publishing and creating sustainable scientific communities.

You will be responsible for handling major institutional accounts in academic and pharmaceutical space, signing up new clients and helping in all facets of the sales cycle from sourcing leads to closing accounts. Experience with research foundations, non-profit and government a huge plus.

Relevant experience
• Consultative selling of technology solutions to institutional clients
• Experience working in a research environment
• Experience with non-profit and medical research foundations
• Working with governments and higher education

Must have
• Great communication skills
• BS in science or related fields
• An independent streak and a willingness to learn
